TikTok doctor dead – Leonardo Gil dies in hit-and-run after hospital shift
ok.co.ukTikTok star Leonardo Gil has reportedly died following a tragic hit and run accident. Following a shift at the hospital in Hialeah, Florida, the 34 year old doctor, who had amassed 108.9k followers on the popular app, was driving home on his motorbike when he was involved in a crash, WSVN reports.
According to the publication, passersby quickly dialled 911 after noticing Leonardo lying on the ground after the accident. He was said to have been taken to the hospital but later passed away from his injuries. "The only thing that we know is the people left him on the street and left," the health worker's aunt Katiuska Fernandez said.
Leonardo's devastated aunt added: "We are very sad because he was just 34 years old." Katiuska said she would always remember her nephew for his ability to "make people smile".
She added: "Whether he met you on the streets or if you were one of his more than 90,000 TikTok followers, his goal was to brighten up your day.
