Joe Exotic
Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.
Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

Tiger King star Joe Exotic’s pink shirt sells for $4,200

One of Tiger King star Joe Exotic’s trademark sequinned shirts has closed for a staggering $4,200 (£3,388) on eBay. The shirt’s owner, Vincent Baran, told TMZ he came across the item online, when he noticed bosses at the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma were selling a bunch of the former zoo owner’s clothing for just $100 (£80) apiece.

He set a minimum bid of $650 (£519) on the garment, after seeing one of Joe’s many hats offered for sale at $800 (£639) on the digital marketplace, and the shirt attracted 43 bids from 21 bidders and the auction ended with a final sale price of $10,400 (£8,348).

However, that bid fell through, and after Vincent re-listed the item earlier this week, it officially sold for $4,200. The new owner
