The star took to her social media page of choice to share a pic featuring both she and her twin Tamera Mowry alongside their mother, Darlene Mowry on the red carpet.
The celeb admitted that she grew up witnessing the privilege her white father, Timothy, enjoyed in comparison to her mom. She went on to detail some of those instances when it became obvious to her that there was a racial bias at hand in the way her parents were treated. ‘Growing up biracial, mom is black and dad’s white, it was really clear to me seeing the privilege my dad had as opposed to my mother.
