THIS Morning viewers panicked today as the show kicked off later than usual. Loyal fans were annoyed when they turned on ITV at 10am and saw the news instead of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
The ITV news overan by five minutes, and one person ranted on Twitter: "What the f**k is going on? #ThisMorning" Another asked: "This Morning is it not on?" As a third said: "Where's #ThisMorning?" and one more moaned: "News again." Phil, 59, and Holly, 41, eventually came on air and announced what was coming up on the show, including an interview with Neighbours legend Alan Fletcher.
The news had been reporting on the Russian-Ukraine crisis, after the Russian President Vladimir Putin put his nuclear forces on high alert, warning the West "may face the greatest consequences in history".
That raises the terrifying possibility the crisis and a miscalculation could spill over into nuclear war. .css-qu9fel{border-top:1px solid #dcdddd;}.css-b9nmbi{margin-bottom:16px;border-top:1px solid.
