'Army veteran' cyclist who died after crash involving truck in Trafford is named

Road shut and blood on car after police called to reports of 'fight' in Droylsden

in Droylsden was shut off last night after a fight in the street.Police said they attended Edge Lane after reports of violence breaking out just after 7pm.Local residents said there had been a fight in the middle of the busy road.Blood could be seen splattered on a Volkswagen Golf which was parked at the side road.When officers arrived those involved had left the scene, police said.However a big cordon was put in place whilst they carried out enquiries.The section of the road was taped off close to the junction with Ashton Old Road, one of the town's major junctions.A number of police cars attended along with plain clothes detectives.It is not known how many people were involved in the disturbance.However Greater Manchester Police (GMP)
