Mr Trump was airlifted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre in what doctors say was a precaution, where he is receiving an experimental antibody treatment.
His physician Dr Sean Conley issued an update on his condition today stating the president was 'doing very well'.Mr Trump is expected to stay at the hospital for “a few days”, according to the White House, and he will continue to work from the hospital’s presidential suite.Meanwhile, a number of aides and advisers close to the president have also been diagnosed with coronavirus this week.Particular attention has been focused on a White House event on Saturday in which Mr Trump introduced his Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett.Mr Trump gathered more than 150 people.
