Working in a supermarket can be pretty tough - especially over the last 18-months. The long hours can be draining and busy with customers sometimes making it worse.

But there might be a lot more than you think going on in a supermarket worker's head when they see you doing your weekly shop or dropping in for some bread and milk.

Two anonymous supermarket workers - one a Tesco employee and the other works at Sainsbury's - revealed to Kent Live exactly what they often want to say to customer during their shifts.

Whether it be the irritating self-scan machines, dealing with rude customers or when sitting behind the till, there are apparently a lot of things that are left unsaid.
