Naraiah Ellison, 19, of Higher Blakeley was arrested during an incident in Piccadilly Gardens on July 24 where police used a Taser stun gun to control a braying mob as a man was pinned to the ground.

The officers were pelted with missiles and surrounded by a group of about 100 people during the incident, according to Greater Manchester Police.
