Teenager accused of murder 'stabbed' another man hours earlier, trial hears

Two boys - aged 16 and 17 - are on trial accused of murdering Scott Anderton, 33, in Leigh. Mr Anderton's body was recovered from the Leeds and Liverpool Canal near to King Street on the morning of March 25.

Both boys - who cannot be named for legal reasons - deny the charge. A third defendant, Liam Bailey, 18, admits murdering Mr Anderton.
