Teachers at Salford high school go on strike days after 200 parents also launch petition

Members of teachers' union NASUWT at Co-op Academy Swinton began the first of five planned days of strike action today (Wednesday).

They say 'adverse management practices' are affecting workload, working practices and pupil behaviour, and accused the school of failing to consult.
