Justin Timberlake

Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981), occasionally known by his initials JT, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer.

Raised in Tennessee, he appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC, which eventually became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.

Timberlake began to adopt a more mature image as an artist with the release of his debut solo album, the R&B-focused Justified (2002), which yielded the successful singles "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body", and earned his first two Grammy Awards.

Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, all took the VMA stage Tuesday night at New Jersey’s Prudential Center to present Taylor Swift with the Best Pop award. “Twenty years ago, we were just kids when we won Best Pop Video for ”Bye Bye Bye,'” Chasez began to the crowd’s amusement. “It was our first VMA and it meant the world to us.” “That award validated our hard work and while we might have won again for ‘Pop’ — you guys remember that?” Kirkpatrick asked the crowd.Bass chimed in, “A lot has changed in the last two decades, but one thing remains constant: A creative boundary-pushing video leaves a lasting mark for decades.”“Now we just wanted to say thank you MTV and especially all of you guys.

Thank you so much each and every one of your favorite musical artists. So thank you,” Fatone said, as Timberlake introduced the award’s nominees.

Their appearance comes hours after a source told Billboard that the group “will be onstage together” at MTV’s annual event. *NSYNC has reportedly reunited to record a new song for the upcoming movie, “Trolls Band Together.”Last month, a source revealed to Entertainment Tonight that the group is “expected to have surprise roles” in the animated musical comedy, due out in theaters Nov.
