The past week has seen an influx of shoppers panic-buying in supermarkets across the UK, leaving shelves empty and some stores struggling to keep up with the pressure.
And now, following Boris Johnson's latest advice, workers are being advised to work at home where possible, and to self-isolate for 14 days if they, or a member of their household, suffer from any of the symptoms outlined.
The new guidelines mean that more supermarket staff could be forced to self-isolate, and shops could be understaffed as a result.
