The Sundance Institute has announced two new $100,000 granting funds to benefit BIPOC artists and arts organizations, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The Uprise Grant Fund, created by the Outreach & Inclusion Program, will support up to 25 U.S.-based emerging artists whose ability to create has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Applications are now open. The Arts Organizations Grant, a continuation of last year's $1 million Respond and Reimagine Fund, will go to eight to 10 U.S.-based, BIPOC-led arts organizations that work in film, theater or emerging media.
Organizations will be nominated by individuals from the media, arts, racial justice, philanthropy and social impact fields, and will be invited to apply in the spring.
