A student who was enjoying a night out with her close friends said that she felt like she was "in a coma" moments before suddenly collapsing.

Elizabeth Everett, 20, believes that her drink was spiked while out on October 16. Elizabeth, who is a student at Edge Hill University in Ormskirk, Lancashire, said that looking back she believes the first sign that something was not right was when she dropped her drink as it felt like the muscles in her hand "went".

Lancs Live reports that Elizabeth claims her symptoms progressed to being "violently sick" before she then collapsed while out in Warrington.
