He's known for having a bit of a sharp tongue when it comes to his critiques in the ballroom but Strictly Come Dancing fans have found themselves jumping to Craig Revel Horwood's defence as the new series kicked off.

The 2023 run of the BBC One dance contest began last weekend with the launch show in which the 15 new celebrities discovered their professional partners.

He’s the one judge that speaks sense #StrictlyComeDancing." @Connor_Hall2 shared: "The judges are so patronising when trying to be nice for fear of sounding like Craig.
