Stockport Council and TfGM have shared details of proposals for a new Transport Interchange with a public park on top that would replace Stockport’s current bus station.

The circular Interchange Park, part of a £120m revamp, would be designed to provide natural light and ventilation to the interchange below - which would also feature an ‘fully accessible’ bus station.
