Stirling youngster takes 20km running challenge for community food project

A Stirling youngster has run more than 20km in a week to raise funds for a community food project.Inspired by Captain Sir Tom Moore, nine-year-old Felix Amos ran the distance to raise funds for Stirling Community Food.The inspirational youngster heard about the Community Food project and the fantastic work it was doing in Stirling and wanted to support it.Felix, from Stirling, set up a JustGiving page and set a goal to run at least 20km in a week and asked his family and friends to donate to his run.

He raised an impressive £153 which means he will have provided 3060 meals to the local community.The Community Food project, which began just as the nation went into lockdown, was established to help reduce food waste.
