Stagecoach driver had to be helped after their double-decker collided with the canopy of a petrol station in Fife. The bus was attempting to avoid roadworks in Dunfermline by diverting via the Tesco garage.
While maneuvering the massive vehicle, helped by petrol station workers, the bus collided with a barrier underneath the forecourt canopy and was forced to stop.Despite appearing to have become wedged under the roof in a picture snapped by a passerby, Stagecoach have stressed that no damage was caused.There were no passengers onboard at the time of the collision and the driver was thankfully uninjured.A spokesperson for Stagecoach East Scotland said: “Due to roadworks on Winterthur Lane, road users were diverted through Tesco.“The driver.
