The new Netflix hit show ‘Squid Game’ has prompted a school to issue a warning to parents, urging them to not let their children watch it.
The controversial series, currently Netflix’s most watched show in 90 countries, has been the cause of school ground safety concerns and has forced schools in the UK to issue warning letters to parents.
Pupils asking teachers to have contests similar to those in Squid Game are believed to be the root cause. Youngsters are believed to be wanting to play games in school from the South Korean series, which sees hundreds of debt-ridden contestants take on survival tasks - masked as popular playground games - for a huge cash prize.
