'Sleep tight handsome' Tributes paid to Scots teen who died after being found seriously injured in Motherwell car park

council car park. Mark Ross passed away after being found near Motherwell Civic Centre at around 9.30am on Sunday. Emergency services raced to the scene and discovered the injured teen but the 17-year-old could not be saved and was pronounced dead a short time later.

His death is currently being treated as “unexplained” and police enquiries are ongoing.Heartbroken pals have paid tribute to Mark, who was a pupil at Our Lady’s High School in the Scots town.

Posting on Facebook, one devastated friend said: "I just want you to wake up and tell us this is all a bad dream. "I'm so thankful to have had you in my life when I did and the memories you gave me I will cherish forever and ever."You were so special words can't even describe it and so.
