“Shrill” has been renewed for a third season at Hulu, Variety has learned. The third season will consist of eight episodes. The first season of the series was just six episodes while the second was also eight.
The news comes just over two months after the launch of Season 2 on the streamer. The comedy series is based on the book “Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman” by Lindy West, who co-created the show along with Aidy Bryant and Ali Rushfield.
Bryant also stars in the series with Rushfield serving as showrunner. The show follows Annie (Bryant), a fat young woman who wants to change her life — but not her body.
