Shot fired at house hours after robbery in same street, police believe

Emergency services raced to reports of a disturbance at 5.50pm in Fell Street on Tuesday. On arrival, officers discovered that a gunshot was then fired at a home following the ‘disturbance’.The robbery had occurred earlier the same day in the street.It is not yet known whether anyone inside the semi-detached home was hit.A police cordon was erected around Fell Street and the adjacent Winward Street, guarded by police cars and tape.
One neighbour, who wished not to be named, told the Manchester Evening News that she heard a ‘loud bang’: “I was just at home making my tea and watching TV and all of a sudden there.
