According to Beverly Hills Police Department executive officerLt. Max Subin, the police were called to the scene around 2 p.m.
on Thursday and offered assistance to a woman who had been shot in the leg at the restaurant. The woman "was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries," he says.
The shooting victim was with two other individuals when three male suspects demanded property, reportedly an expensive watch, from one of her companions, Subin says.
