Shock as heavy police presence race to quiet Lanarkshire cul-de-sac

A woman has been arrested following an incident at a Hamilton home.Police raced to the property in Gordon Terrace, in the Burnbank area of the town, on Sunday night after receiving a "concern for person" call.Neighbours say six police cars and vans, with officers carrying protective equipment, appeared in the street just after 7pm.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman told Lanarkshire Live : "Police attended a concern for person call and disturbance at an address at around 7.15 pm. "A 25-year-old woman has been arrested and charged following the incident.
