SHERIDAN SMITH has quit ITV’s Saturday night talent show Starstruck. The actress judged contestants on their impersonations of music icons, alongside fellow panellists, singers Beverley Knight and Adam Lambert and comic Jason Manford.
An ITV spokeswoman said: “We would have loved Sheridan to have returned to the show, but she has sadly had to decline due to scheduling conflicts with a new acting project. “The team loved working with her. "She was a fantastic judge and provided some invaluable feedback to the contestants. “We wish her all the best.” We hear that bosses are looking at music stars to replace her.
Bafta-winning Sheridan recently starred in movie sequel, The Railway Children Return, and TV dramas No Return, Four Lives and The Teacher.
