evoke.ieSelma Blair has some truly inspiring news after years of struggling with a debilitating multiple sclerosis diagnosis. An icon of 90s cinema, Blair, has announced that she is now ‘in remission’ after dealing with a year of intense pain during which Selma could barely walk or talk.
To combat the autoimmune disease she underwent a stem cell transplant along with an ‘aggressive’ course of chemotherapy to restart her immune system after she was suffering an aggressive flare up for two years which left her debilitated.
While it hasn’t been an easy road to get there, Selma shared that the intensive treatment is working. Speaking at the discovery+ TCA panel, the Cruel Intentions actress explained, ‘My prognosis is great.
