On Monday, and as part of the next stage of relaxing lockdown measure in England, pupils in secondary schools will no longer be expected to wear face coverings in classrooms and communal areas.

However, it looks as though pupils in Bolton - where an infection rate of 192.3 per 100,000 people was recorded in the week ending May 9 - will continue to wear masks.
