Scottish SPCA Lanarkshire appeals for donations to enrich lives of small rescue animals

Animal lovers are being urged to donate hay, toys and tunnels for the small creatures in the care of Lanarkshire's Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.The Scottish SPCA charity are currently caring for 15 rabbits and five Guinea pigs and need to make sure their enclosures are cosy and their lives are enriched by stimulation.Centre manager, Gillian Boyle, said: “We are appealing for hay to keep their enclosures cosy, and toys and tunnels for enrichment.“All of these items will help us keep our small animals happy and healthy until they find their forever homes.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
