Scots pensioner who died after being hit by Glasgow bus named by police

A Scots pensioner has died after being hit by a bus. Roseann McLaughlan, 71, was struck close to Buchanan Bus Station in Glasgow.

The incident occurred on the city's Killermont Street at around 3.30pm on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Emergency services were all at the scene and the area was locked down by officers from Police Scotland.

The 71-year-old was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.
