Scots mum frantic as boys screamed 'am I going to die' after being blown out to sea on inflatable dinghy

inflatable dinghy.Laura Gallagher had been looking forward to an afternoon at the beach when she arrived at Thorntonloch beach, in East Lothian, at 3pm on Saturday, July 17.

The 31-year-old was joined by her husband Kern, 34, their sons Nathan, seven, Jamie, four, and their friends Sarah and Robert Keenan and their son Findlay, also seven.The group had been splashing aboutin the water alongside the light craft which initially had the three boys sitting in it.

But when four-year-old Jamie got off, the vessel took off in the wind with Nathan and young Findlay still on board.Laura, a pharmacy manager from Dunbar, told how the frightened boys cried and screamed that they were going to die as the dinghy continued to drift offshore.
