Scots drug dealer snared after nearly crashing BMW into police car

A woman involved in a drug dealing operation narrowly avoided a prison sentence this week.Police officers stopped a BMW in East Kilbride when it almost crashed into their vehicle after failing to give way.Inside the car they found more than £1000 in banknotes and a bag containing cannabis wraps.Amy Adams, 26, was ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid community work when she appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court.She admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis in Sydney Drive, East Kilbride, and at her home in Patrickholm Avenue, Stonehouse, on May 31 last year.Ross Canning, prosecuting, said the officers were on patrol around 11am.He told the court: “A black BMW approaching The Murray from Murrayhill failed to comply with a give way.
