Rylan says being ill for four months made him realise he's 'not invincible'

During his time away from the spotlight, Rylan shared he "went away for a bit" to hospital as he "was very... gone." Now, during a conversation with pal Davina McCall on his podcast Ry-Union, the Strictly It Takes Two presenter has opened up on being "ill" following his separation from Dan. "I was ill.
I was really in a bad way for that four months. It's really strange, because lately I've been thinking about it. It was summer as well," he started before explaining that while people were enjoying the hot weather, he had no phone or social media.
