Ryan Tubridy is giddy for us all to enjoy ‘a great night out in [our] sitting room’ as he described the musical lineup his RTÉ colleagues organised for the upcoming Late Late country special.

Speaking to listeners on his RTÉ Radio 1 show, the presenter enthused, ‘I’m very excited about this. I know it’s only Monday, but this Friday we have Dolly Parton on the Late Late Show.’ ‘We’re going to make it a big Country Special with all our friends.

I just think it’s going to be absolutely gorgeous.’ As well as an appearance from Dolly Parton, there will also be performances from Úna Healy, Daniel O’Donnell, Nathan Carter, Margo, the Three Amigos, Philomena Begley and Sandy Kelly.
