Glasgow is at the centre of a coronavirus outbreak after 38 staff tested positive for the deadly bug. Royal Mail bosses today confirmed the cases at the Glasgow Mail Centre in the city’s Springburn, where around 1,000 people are employed.

Chiefs say the office has been deep cleaned in light of the news and are 'working hard to control the outbreak.'They also went on to reassure customers that social-distancing and other measures are being respected.A Royal Mail spokeswoman said: “Glasgow Mail Centre has around 1,000 employees.
