Renfrewshire high school is the latest to be hit by coronavirus crisis

Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our personalised newsletter.Paisley’s Castlehead High is the latest school to be hit by the coronavirus, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has confirmed.The health board revealed in a letter to parents last night that pandemic trace and protect experts have been carrying out investigations into a case at the school.It is not currently clear if the infected person is a child or member of staff.Castlehead is the first secondary school to be impacted by the virus since the schools reopened last week.However three other primaries - Todhom Primary in Paisley, Wallace Primary in Elderslie and St James’ Primary in Renfrew - confirmed coronavirus positive cases within 48 hours.NHS.
