dailyrecord.co.ukGet the stories that interest you straight to your inbox every day with our personalised newsletterAnother of Prestwick's busiest bars has closed its doors voluntarily following a positive case of coronavirus.Bosses at the town's Red Lion said they "wouldn't feel right" staying open, despite advice to the contrary from Environmental Health officials.It follows a similar incident at the nearby BUF bar on Wednesday, when bosses there also took the voluntary decision to close after a positive test result for a staff member.Posting today on the bar's Facebook page, The Red Lion said: "We have unfortunately had member of staff return a positive case."Despite being advised from EHO that we are fine to remain open we wouldn’t feel right doing so.
