Friends of Leicester City WAG, Rebekah Vardy have said they feel the star is feeling “tense” after a court ordered her to pay up to 90% of Coleen Rooney’s legal bills following her libel case defeat earlier this Summer.
The wife of Leicester City player Jamie Vardy, 40, sued Coleen Rooney, 36, for libel after Coleen shared a post on social media which accused Rebekah Vardy’s Instagram account of leaking stories to the press, including claims the basement of her Cheshire home had flooded and that Coleen was planning a return to television work.
Rebekah has always vehemently denied the accusation, but a court ruled in Coleen’s favour in July, leaving the WAG facing an eye-watering bill for Coleen’s legal costs that could stretch up to £1.5million.
