A rare Olympic fifty pence piece has sold on eBay for more than £10,000 - 10 days after being listed on eBay by its owner. The coin, which entered circulation nine years ago to mark the London 2012 Olympic Games, was put up for sale on the online auction site in May with a starting bid of just £10.The Mirror Online reports that it quickly racked up 68 bids - taking the final selling price to £10,101 - a huge jackpot win for its owner.
