Rangers player Jake Hastie says it was an easy decision to swap Ibrox for Northern Irish side Linfield. The winger from Law endured a frustrating first half of the season on loan at Championship club Partick Thistle and now heads across the water on a temporary basis.Hastie is a product of the Motherwell youth academy and won a move to Rangers in 2019 off the back of purple form patch. He still has 18 months to run on his Ibrox deal but the winger has already had disappointing loans at Rotherham United, Motherwell and Thistle. But a move to Linfield could be what he needs to spark his career again. He told the Northern Irish outfit's club media: "I am delighted to be here.
I spoke to the gaffer here over the last couple of weeks about it. Once I did that, it was a no-brainer to come here."I want to enjoy my football.
I came through at Motherwell before Rangers and I have now had a couple of loan spells."I can play anywhere in a front three.
I am pacey, powerful and I have a bit of trickery. So hopefully I can score some goals."Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news, pictures and video.
