Pop Smoke‘s first studio album is on top of the charts. The late artist, who was tragically murdered at the age of 20 back in February, landed at the No.

1 spot on the Billboard 200 with his posthumous set, Shoot for the Stars, as of Sunday (July 12) according to the chart company.

The album was released on July 3 and garnered 251,000 equivalent album units in its first week. It now marks the sixth biggest week of 2020 for any album, and the third largest for a hip-hop album.

It also had the fourth largest streaming week of 2020, and is the first posthumous No. 1 since December of 2018 with XXXTentacion‘s Skins.
