Police are appealing for witnesses after "high value items" were stolen from two cars at a Highland beauty spot. Officers say the incident happened at the Sugarbowl car park near Glenmore in the Cairngorms.Police say that one of the vehicles was badly damaged as a result of the break in.
A mobile phone and purse were included in the items taken, between 10.40am and 12.15pm on Saturday. Pc Keri Jones of the prevention and interventions team at Aviemore said: "With the Cairngorms seeing a welcome increase in visitors now lockdown has eased, we would use this opportunity to remind visitors to make sure they remove all valuables from their vehicles and secure all windows and doors prior to enjoying a day out."Fortunately crime of this type is.
