News : “Around 5.30pm on August 3, police received a report a 16-year-old male had been threatened by a man on Stroud Road in East KIlbride. “The youth was uninjured in the incident and no money or items were stolen.

Enquiries are ongoing.”A sizeable police presence raised concerns from locals in the area who took to social media to find what had happened.One woman posted on Facebook: “Does anyone know what’s happened in Greenhills at the tunnel just after Quarry Road?“EK Hays staff left to fear for their futureThis is the third such incident this year and the second during lockdown.A similar incident occurred in March when a 15-year-old boy was mugged in the town centre tunnels by a man wielding a weapon.That happened in an underpass.
