Police divers called in to help with search for missing Scots nurse

missing Scots nurse say specialist divers are now assisting with their search. Gillian Ballantyne vanished from her home in Coneypark Place, Banknock, at around 10am on Tuesday July, 6.The 50-year-old nurse anaesthetist, at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, was later spotted around 12.45pm on Napier Road, Wardpark Industrial Estate in Cumbernauld that same day.

Yesterday we told you how firefighters were seen searching the Forth and Clyde Canal in Allandale, as part of the missing person investigation.

Gillian is described as 5ft 2ins in height, bald, with a slim build and blue eyes.She was wearing jeans, a white jacket & blue head covering and is also known to wear hats and scarves routinely and has been seen wearing a blue beanie hat.Falkirk.
