Police charge Tameside man with 24 sex offences

Mark Harmer has been released on bail, under the condition he does not have contact with anyone under the age of 16. The 54-year-old of Ridge Hill Lane, Stalybridge, will appear in court next month.

He has been charged with a number of offences, including possession of an indecent image of a child, attempting to arrange or facilitate a child sexual offence, and two counts of sexual communication with a child.
