Police arrest boy, 15, after 14-year-old girl sexually assaulted in Glasgow park

Glasgow park just weeks after another girl was raped. The 14-year-old was allegedly attacked in Dawsholm Park in the Maryhill area of the city at around 9.30pm on Friday June 19.

Police are continuing to investigate the latest attack but said that a 15-year-old boy had been arrested in connection with the incident.

They are not looking for anyone else in connection with Friday’s incident.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.30pm on Friday, 19 June, we received reports of a sexual assault against a 14-year-old girl in the Dawsholm Park area of Glasgow.“A 15-year-old boy has been arrested, officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.

Police cordoned off a Glasgow city centre street today after a horrific knife attack less than a mile from the hotel where an attacker who stabbed six was shot dead on Friday. A man lay injured on the city’s Argyle Street yards from a Premier Inn hotel after reportedly being stabbed in both legs in what police are treating as a “targeted attack”.
