Police appealing for witnesses after man hospitalised in mugging

The victim was attacked by four men as he walked along a footpath between Aberdeen Grove and King Street West in Edgeley. He sustained a number of injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

He's since been discharged. Police say it's believed there were a number of witnesses to the attack and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

It took place at 6.30pm on Monday, March 22. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 9829 or 101 quoting incident 2466 of 22/03/20
