Tributes paid to the 'happiest, loudest person in the room' after young Scots mum dies of bowel cancer

Glasgow mum died of bowel cancer. Carol Haley died aged 33 last week leaving behind her three-year-old daughter Kady and devastated partner Anton.

The Castlemilk mum was diagnosed with Stage 4 bowel cancer in July 2019 and was given a 30% chance of survival by doctors. Carol dedicated her final months to making as many memories as possible with her family and "always had a smile on her face" before she died on Friday, April 9.

Now a fundraiser has been launched to raise money for little Kady, reports Glasgow Live. Family friend Claire Richford described Carol as 'the happiness, loudest person in the room'.She said: "She had nicknames for everybody like "heck, main-stain, babbles" and was always a pleasure to be around."She had a long, brave.
