Police and paramedics were called to 'an incident' in Downham Road in Heywood, following a 999 call just after 9.30 this morning sharing 'concerns for the welfare of a man'.

Paramedics confirmed they did not take anyone to hospital, with police adding that a body was found. Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called at 9.30am to a report of concern for the welfare of a man at an address on Downham Road, Heywood. "A 32-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. "There aren’t believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file has been passed to the coroner." A
