dailyrecord.co.ukA volunteer group which helps to maintain one of West Lothian’s best loved country parks is appealing for old photos of Almondell, or memories from the early days of the country park that you could share with them.The Friends of Almondell and Calderwood are working in partnership with West Lothian Council Parks and Woodlands team to create a new Heritage Trail as part of a wider project to rejuvenate the park for future generations.The Heritage Trail will provide information about the fascinating history of the Almondell Estate, including the many and diverse bridges which cross the River Almond as well as other interesting features within the park, whilst incorporating activities for children.The following features will be included on the
