PHILLIP Schofield blasted Twitter today saying he quit the app after being hounded by vile trolls. The 60-year-old star told This Morning viewers he had wiped the site from his phone during a discussion about billionaire Elon Musk buying Twitter.
Phillip joined the app in 2009 along with co-host Holly Willoughby, with the pair gaining millions of followers. The star, whose has not deleted his Twitter page but sent his last tweet in December, said on This Morning today: "I've deleted it off my phone. "There is a section that is lovely.
